- ½ cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
- 1 cup ground flax seeds
- ⅓ cup sesame seeds
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cup water
- Additional flavorings: up to 2 tablespoons of herbs/spices (e.g., ½ tsp garlic, ½ tsp onion, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp basil)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200°F (100°C). Pulse pumpkin seeds in a food processor until coarse.
- Mix pumpkin seeds, flax, sesame, chia, salt, and water in a bowl until seeds gel.
- Roll out the mixture between parchment paper to desired thickness, scoring it into pieces.
- Bake for 2½–3 hours until dehydrated, rotating halfway. Let cool before breaking apart.
