  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1 cup ground flax seeds
  • ⅓ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cup water
  • Additional flavorings: up to 2 tablespoons of herbs/spices (e.g., ½ tsp garlic, ½ tsp onion, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp basil)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F (100°C). Pulse pumpkin seeds in a food processor until coarse.
  2. Mix pumpkin seeds, flax, sesame, chia, salt, and water in a bowl until seeds gel.
  3. Roll out the mixture between parchment paper to desired thickness, scoring it into pieces.
  4. Bake for 2½–3 hours until dehydrated, rotating halfway. Let cool before breaking apart.
