Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 yellow onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 2 (14-ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 (4-ounce) can green chilies
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeno to a food processor and chop finely.
  2. Add tomatoes, green chilies, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
  3. Pulse in 1-second increments until well-blended but slightly chunky.
  4. Adjust seasoning with salt or lime juice as needed. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in glass jars.
